Before the 6th June 2016, Harrison Ward was in the midst of a battle with alcohol, drinking upwards of 20 pints a day. Drinking had began as a means of sedating his mind from crippling clinical depression and thoughts of suicide but became a further complication. Whilst also suffering with his weight, Harrison spent 12 years struggling in silence before experiencing a breakdown and facing hard truths.
Harrison, sober since that day, now speaks openly and honestly about his darkest moments to corporate clients, schools, festivals, podcasts and the media as a mental health speaker. His talk touches on moments of resilience, not being afraid to ask for help, change management and the power of the outdoors for mental and physical wellbeing.
